Even during my university days, I always found myself drawn to teaching. I used to help my classmates with Accounting and Finance, and deep down, I dreamed of being recognized as a great teacher and mentor, someone who could make learning truly meaningful (and maybe even a little famous for it!).
When I began teaching in schools, it wasn’t easy. The students gave me a hard time, and hearing things like “I hate Accounts” used to sting , especially because I’ve always loved the subject so much. But over time, I realized that students didn’t really hate Accounting , they were simply overwhelmed by their studies. That’s when it struck me: learning should be enjoyable, accessible, and stress-free.
After much thought, I decided to start my YouTube channel, Rapid Revision with Shayan . A space where learning feels light, clear, and achievable.
Of course, it wasn’t easy in the beginning. I didn’t know where to start and what to teach. So, I turned to my students for ideas. Every time they struggled with a topic in class, I made a video about it.
I started small, recording on Zoom with basic sound and zero editing. But with every video, I learned something new and tried to improve a little more.
Today, Rapid Revision has grown into a space where students come to understand concepts, prepare for their tests and exams, and leave with confidence and often, amazing grades.
